About Jacob
Jacob Reynold Jones is a writer and editor passionate about exploring intersections between science, theology, psychology, culture, and art. His content aims to bridge cultural gaps and address social questions through collaborative creativity. He holds master’s degrees in media arts and theological studies from Dallas Theological Seminary.
With expertise in marketing, content development, and narrative editing—as well as a rich background in educational leadership—Jacob is a veritable Swiss army knife of idea generation.
Jacob is also a lifetime student of martial arts, and he owns a proprietary gumbo recipe that has been described as “ontologically transcendent.”
Current Projects
I am currently accepting freelance assignments in the following areas:
Copyediting for trade book publishers
Marketing copywriting for trade book publishers
Developmental editing for fantasy, science fiction, or literary fiction manuscripts
Popular culture reviews, social thought articles, and commentary pieces
If you have a project of another type that you feel might be of interest, please reach out. In the past, I’ve enjoyed editing children’s picture books and theological nonfiction, and, schedule permitting, I am always open to helping organizations that aim to make a positive social impact!
